This 3 day class is designed for crime scene investigators, detectives, and anyone tasked with processing crime scenes. This class introduces students to strategies for dealing with a large-scale mass casualty event. Participants will follow along with 3 case studies before being introduced to the Incident Command System and ways to have multiple agencies work together to quickly, methodically, and effectively process a large incident. The class will participate in round table exercises as well as work a mock mass casualty scene as a large group of people who may not generally work together. This class will prepare the investigators to handle a complex, multifaceted crime scene that encompasses numerous scenes and locations while incorporating resources from all agencies who have responded.
