This 2-day class is tailored specifically for the forensic professional who will be required to testify in courtrooms.  The purpose of this class is to help take some of the anxiety out of testifying.  Humans by nature don’t like being second-guessed and that is what happens in a courtroom.  Our experienced staff will help you protect yourself from overtly reacting to tactics used by attorneys to elicit specific responses in front of a jury. Students are required to submit 2 or 3 reports they have done from a criminal case they have previously worked on but is now closed.  They will be using one of these reports during a mock trial on day 2.  On day one, topics such as first impressions, body language, eye contact, vocal range, and talking with one’s hands will be discussed.  Additionally, the class will discuss pre-trial conferences, evidence and case file preparation for trial, and evidence handling in a courtroom.
